Membership

ALMA provides fraternal and spiritual support to Lutheran mission agencies societies and mission-involved congregations in their specific effort to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in so doing is authorized:

1. To provide an identifiable entity for those Lutheran men and women who represent operate and promote their respective mission societies or agencies.
2. To provide a setting for professional interaction and personal sharing among those referred to in the preceding paragraphs.
3. To foster a spirit of trust and teamwork among those referred to in the preceding paragraphs.

Further Benefits of ALMA membership include:

1. Free space on the ALMA web site to promote your mission agency and help people find you and obtain more information about your agency.
2. A "Members only" online community which provides a diverse array of features and services for networking with other members.
3. ALMA provides lower conference costs to its members.
4. ALMA provides a complete directory of its member agencies to its members.
5. Members are listed in the ALMA Directory.
6. Consultation on issues like funding communication and mission education.
7. Helps establish the credibility of member agencies with LCMS organizations.

Membership Fees

1. Membership fees are $75 per year.
2. The membership year is November 1 to October 31 of each year.

Joining ALMA online

To join ALMA click on the "Membership" button on the navigation bar to the left then click on the "New Member Application" button on the next page. Fill out the required information and follow the instructions on mailing your membership fees and activating your membership.
