| Mission/Ministry: Mission Opportunities Short Term, a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of the LCMS, is committed to "Impacting the world for Jesus Christ through short term missions by Empowering the Found in Reaching the Lost." In response to requests from our missionaries and national churches partners, MOST Ministries recruits, trains and leads short term volunteer mission teams to carry out projects such as eyeglass, medical and dental clinics, water filter installation, health education, hospice training, English camps, VBS, music, puppet and sports outreach, family ministry, professional teams and more. MOST Ministries coordinate 25-30 mission trips annually for congregations, individuals and other ministries seeking to connect their supporters with overseas projects. Through MOST Ministries, teams can confidently choose a different project and location each year, knowing each trip is strategically designed, and at the request of the partner missionary. Or teams may choose to build long-term relationships, returning year after year to a sister congregation. Additionally, MOST Ministries offers 'a la carte' pre- and post-trip training modules for groups coordinating their own mission trips. |
